2015 USAWKF Team Trials

I just returned from the 2015 National Wushu Championships & Team Trials competition in San Jose, California. I'm proud that I was selected for the USAWKF National Traditional Wushu Team after my first year of training, and I am super excited to compete at the World Traditional Wushu Championships next year!

In San Jose, I competed in the Elementary Long Fist, Straight Sword, and Spear divisions. I recorded videos to keep as a one-year benchmark to look back on later in my Wushu career. This is my last taolu competition before I leave to train in China!!!

I had a lot of fun hanging out with the Texas group at Team Trials - I think we hoarded all of the Cheerios from the hotel's continental breakfast! It was so inspirational to watch America's top Wushu athletes compete for spots on the U.S. National Team.
